If you have ever thought the Sharpness enchant sucked after the JE's Combat Update, this data pack will fix your problems and make Sharpness great again!
And to know if the data pack is added properly, all you need to do is simply reload, enchant Sharpness V to a Netherite Axe (not a sword), and crit any unarmored entity with 20 HP. If they're killed in one hit, great job, it works as intended!

Levels
Level I - +1.5 linear damage (instead of +1 in vanilla)
Level II - +2.75 linear damage (instead of +1.5 in vanilla)
Level III - +4 linear damage (instead of +2 in vanilla)
Level IV - +5.25 linear damage (instead of +2.5 in vanilla)
Level V - +6.5 linear damage (instead of +3 in vanilla)
Spoiler
Here's a quick catch: Yes, I purposely added 0.25 more damage as an Easter Egg to when everyone thought that this enchantment also grant a little pinch of damaging bonus via random chance back in 2011 when enchanting first debuted in Minecraft. In basic words, you start with 1.5 damage, then 1.25 more every increase in level.
